Description: Silhouettez in The Dark’s most recent work COMMUNICATION is a Theatre production in aid of raising funds towards upcoming work with charitable Arts Company: SPANIGERIA who wish to work with SITD in Nigeria in 2012.

Whilst ½ Silhouettez was in Nigeria this summer, SPAN’s forerunner Sarah Bullious had a chance to view Silhouettez work live. A relationship fueled by a mutual interest in Art and the Community even before Silhouettez landed in Nigeria, drew the parties together. Plans are now in progress for a collaborative project to take place in Nigeria where Sillhouettez will produce works for the Nigerian Stage to rekindle an interest in art and encourage more young people into ‘Theatre Arts’ and Arts leadership in mind. SITD supports and believes in SPAN’s ethos to educate via art giving options to those who are typically less fortunate or unaware of opportunities. In line with this SITD have chosen to work with SPAN for free, offering a tailor made project culminating in grand style with a feature length production written and produced by SITD for the Nigerian audience (in Nigeria). The projects main benefit is the outreach and education work that SITD will carry out on behalf of SPAN. This will done largely in the form of workshops.

With your help SILHOUETTEZ can raise enough funds to action the trip. All proceeds from ticket sales to “Communication” will go towards this unique but necessary project.
